Florine B. Coe

Florine Blanche Coe, 92, of Hot Springs, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 15, 2017, with her family at her side.

A faithful Christian, Florine’s life centered on her Lord and her family. An accomplished cook, her yeast rolls, cookies and dressing were legendary at family gatherings.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting hats and booties for mission trips, family and others.

She was a masseuse for many years, and her clients soon became personal friends. She was loved by everyone whose life she touched.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Bobby) King; her son, Kenneth (Michele) Coe; her grandchildren, Karla (Tim) Killian, Shawn (Jennifer) Mangrum, Katie Sargent, Michelle (Kevin) Hart; and many great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her lifelong friend and husband, Elmer Henry Coe, an infant son, Alton Wilson Coe, and a daughter, Rheta Jeanette Sargent.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Gross Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Gross Funeral Home, with Brother George Lynch and Brother John McCallum officiating.

Pallbearers will be David Buttrum, Tim Killian, Matthew Killian, Kevin Hart, Major Hart and Shawn Mangrum. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
