AMC Theatres kicks off summer movie camp for kids

AMC Theatres kicked off its nine-week AMC Classic Summer Movie Camp on June 5 at participat­ing AMC Classic locations, including the AMC Classic Central City 10 location at 909 Higdon Ferry Road.

Through the AMC Classic Summer Movie Camp, moviegoers can enjoy a ticket to a family favorite film and an AMC KidsPack including popcorn, fountain drink and FrootiToot­i fruit snacks for just $4 this summer.

AMC Classic Summer Movie Camp is sponsored by Sony Pictures’ “The Star,” which will be in theaters in November.

Show times for AMC Classic Summer Movie Camp are available on Mondays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m.

The summer movie camp lineup includes “The Lorax,” “Trolls,” “The Secret Life of Pets,” “How to Train Your Dragon,” “Pup Star,” “Sing,” “Home,” “Despicable Me,” and “The Peanuts Movie.”

AMC will donate a portion of the movie camp sales to AMC Cares, the charitable giving arm of AMC. AMC Cares supports communitie­s where AMC associates live and work and fosters the growth and developmen­t of AMC associates through an annual associate scholarshi­p program, volunteer opportunit­ies, in-kind and monetary donations to nonprofit organizati­ons, and sustainabi­lity programs.
