Knox A/C and Heating donates HVAC to Project HOPE

Knox A/C and Heating Inc. donated a Ruud HVAC unit to Project HOPE Food Bank. Charlie Knox, owner of Knox A/C and Heating, said in the press release, “The food bank is an organizati­on that does a lot of good for the community. We’re very proud of the commitment we’ve made to Project HOPE Food Bank. It’s especially heartwarmi­ng to know our contributi­on is providing assistance to children, their families and aging seniors in the community where we live and work.” Knox went on to say: “The food bank helps so many people and we wanted to be a part of that.”

Ted Thompson, executive director of the food bank, stated: “It could not have come at a better time, with summer just around the corner. During May

2017, the food bank distribute­d

106,000 pounds of food with a volunteer workforce. I am excited to receive this donation of a Ruud HVAC unit and I know our volunteers will appreciate it too.” Thompson further commented, “We have worked with Knox A/C and Heating Inc. for the last three years to maintain our refrigerat­or, freezers and air conditioni­ng units, they have been wonderful to work with. The service they provide is top-of-the-line. Charlie and the crew have kept our equipment up and running, providing the food bank with excellent emergency service too.”
