Knox A/C and Heating donates HVAC to Project HOPE
Knox A/C and Heating Inc. donated a Ruud HVAC unit to Project HOPE Food Bank. Charlie Knox, owner of Knox A/C and Heating, said in the press release, “The food bank is an organization that does a lot of good for the community. We’re very proud of the commitment we’ve made to Project HOPE Food Bank. It’s especially heartwarming to know our contribution is providing assistance to children, their families and aging seniors in the community where we live and work.” Knox went on to say: “The food bank helps so many people and we wanted to be a part of that.”
Ted Thompson, executive director of the food bank, stated: “It could not have come at a better time, with summer just around the corner. During May
2017, the food bank distributed
106,000 pounds of food with a volunteer workforce. I am excited to receive this donation of a Ruud HVAC unit and I know our volunteers will appreciate it too.” Thompson further commented, “We have worked with Knox A/C and Heating Inc. for the last three years to maintain our refrigerator, freezers and air conditioning units, they have been wonderful to work with. The service they provide is top-of-the-line. Charlie and the crew have kept our equipment up and running, providing the food bank with excellent emergency service too.”
