Anniversaries
Grady and Wilma Winstead Adcock, of Hot Springs, will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary with a card shower at 5 p.m. today at Lakeveiw Assembly of God, hosted by their children. Family and friends are welcome.
The couple were married July 3, 1942, in Arlington, Miss., in the home of the Rev. Ethel Bell, who officiated. They renewed their vows on their 70th wedding anniversary. They are retired ordained ministers. Wilma Adcock worked with the Oklahoma State Extension Service.
They are the parents of the Rev. Ralph and Carol Adcock and Roland and Gwen Adcock, all of Hot Springs; grandparent of Brent Adcock, Bryan Adcock DeWayne Adcock and Emily White; and great-grandparents of Eli White, Landon Adcock, Drew Adcock, Maddy White, Luke Adcock and Cate Adcock.
Gary and Patsy Vaughn Buck, of Hot Springs, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church, hosted by their children and children’s families. Friends, family and associates are welcome. No gifts, please. Cards are welcome.
The couple were married June 30, 1967, at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, in Bonnerdale, with Brother Sonny Shepard officiating. Gary Buck owns an industrial saw supply and service business. Patsy Buck is a homemaker.
They are the parents of Geff and Mandy Buck, of Hot Springs, and Tina and Dean Hatcher, of Springdale; grandparents of Kurtis and Logan Buck, Elexus Jordan and Keegan Smith; and great-grandparents of Nyla and Nova Jordan.
Whitney and Evelyn Bain Melson, of Hot Springs, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Wednesday.
The couple were married July 5, 1957, by the late Brother George Riley at his home.
They are the parents of Suzan and Ron Pyeatt Sr. and Timothy and Elizabeth Melson; grandparents of Ronny Pyeatt, Renee Rea, Rachel Pyeatt, Whitney Hill and Addison Melson; and great-grandparents of Kourntye Friesinger, Justin Brewer, Jonathan Rea, Jared Rea, Nicholas Rea, Mikaela Rea and Chloe Ann Pyeatt.
