CADC announces LIHEAP Utility help

Central Arkansas Development Council announced that the 2017 Summer LIHEAP Utility Assistance program will begin the week of July 10 and continue as long as funds are available.

The days and times for applications in Clark, Hot Spring, Montgomery and Pike counties are as follows:

• Clark County — CADC LIHEAP Day from 1-4 p.m. July

13 at the CADC Senior Adult Center, 1311 N. 10th, Arkadelphia. Beginning July 17, applications will be accepted at that location from 8 a.m. until noon Mondays and Tuesdays. Call 501-326-6229 for information.

• Hot Spring County — CADC LIHEAP Day will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon July

14 at the Malvern Head Start/ Smith Building, 1735 E. Sullenberger. Then applications will be accepted at the center from

8 a.m. until noon Wednesdays and Thursdays. Call the center,

• Montgomery County — Beginning July 12, applications will be accepted at CADC Mount Ida SCAT, 158 Senior Drive, from

8-11 a.m. Wednesdays. Call 870867-0151 for information.

• Pike County — CADC will begin taking applications on July

11 from 8-11 a.m. Tuesdays only at the Glenwood Senior Adult Center, 229 Betty St. Call 870356-4212 for information. Applications will be accepted at the Murfreesboro Senior Adult, 120 Court, from 8-11 a.m. Mondays beginning July 10. Call 870-2852312 for information.
