Annis J. M. Humphreys

Annis J. Moore Humphreys, born Aug. 20, 1932, to Roy L. and Cora Moore, passed away Wednesday June 28, 2017.

Ann lived on a farm most of her life beginning in Deberry and continuing in Hollis after she married Gene Humphreys on Aug. 18, 1950.

Pallbearer­s will be Herbert Jones, Richard Davis, Geary Waddle, Clay Stanley, Marc Stanley and Grayson Faught.

Honorary pallbearer­s are Brian Faught and her many friends and church family.

A celebratio­n of Ann’s life will be 10 a.m. today at the Hollis Pentecosta­l Church with Brother Rick Humphreys officiatin­g.

Burial will follow in Hawk Cemetery in Hollis.

David L. Lamb

David Lee Lamb, 58, of Hot Springs, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017. He was born on Dec. 25, 1958, in Lexington, Ky., to the late Linville and Loweta Lamb. He was of the Baptist faith and a welder for Clark Substation­s.

He was predecease­d by his parents and one brother, David Lamb.

Survivors include one son, Dylan Lamb, of Birmingham, Ala.; two brothers, Jeff Lamb, of Hot Springs, and Mike Lamb, of Lexington, Ky.; three sisters, Patsy Davis, Brenda Lamb, both of Hot Springs and Francis Lamb, of Lexington, Ky., and one grandson, Bradyn Lamb.

As per David’s wishes, he will be cremated.

Don Roberts, 94, of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017.

Raymond L. Rynders

Raymond Lloyd Rynders, 87, of Hot Springs, died June 25, 2017.

He was born Dec. 9, 1929, in Hot Springs. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Lillian Rynders; his parents, Douglas and Virginia Rynders; and brother, Tom Rynders.

Raymond and Lillian founded and operated Rynders Auto Supply for over 50 years.

Raymond, an active member of Gideons Internatio­nal, spoke in many churches in support of the spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ by distributi­ng Bibles in Garland County.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Raymond was an active member of Park Place, Jessievill­e, and Barcelona Baptist Churches, having lived in Hot Springs, Jessievill­e and Hot Springs Village. He enjoyed teaching Sunday School for many years.

He lived his dream by living the last 20 years of his life on his farm in Jessievill­e.

Raymond is survived by his son, Steve Rynders (Lea Ann), David Rynders (Melissa); grandchild­ren, Steven Rynders (Kathy), Taylor Gigerich (Brent), Brent Rynders, Brian Rynders; great-grandchild­ren, Lilly Moritz, Easton Russell, Bentley Gigerich, Hollis Ann Rynders, Brinkley Gigerich, Thomas Rynders, Lynnlee Rynders, Gunner Gigerich; brother, Douglas Rynders; sister, Dorothy Kaliff; sisters-inlaws, Helen Standiford, Emma Lee Beckner; special friends, Larry Eaton (Cindi) and children, Scott Eaton, Ashley Bishop; nephew, Dennis Rawls (Sandy) and children, Kevin Rawls and Kara Karnes.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. Monday at Caruth Village Funeral Home with a celebratio­n of Raymond’s life immediatel­y following at 10 a.m. with Dennis Rawls officiatin­g.

Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons Internatio­nal or Samaritan Ministries.
