Loretta L.W. Bishop

PEARCY — Loretta L. Waite Bishop died peacefully at home with her husband by her side July 23, 2017, in Pearcy, Ark.

She was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Bridgeport, Ohio, to Albert R. Waite and Marie V.A. Carl Waite.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, James W. Bishop Sr.; her son, Gregory Norman (Dee), of St. George, Utah; a son, Michael Norman; stepson, Bill Bishop Jr. (Joy), of Inverness, Fla.; and stepdaughter, Kathleen Bishop, of Hot Springs, Ark.

She was predeceased by her parents; her sisters, Shirley Tracy and Sylvia Rose; and her brother, Selwyn Waite.

She loved everybody, and everybody loved her. She always had a big smile on her face, and loved to give hugs. Many may remember her from her days working at the old Anchor Inn on the lake off 70 West.

She was a Christian, and attended Lake Valley Community Church.

Graveside funeral services will be 9 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2017, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastors Morgan Golden and Dru Dodson officiating.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Gross Funeral Home.
