A local woman was arrested Friday after she allegedly attacked her son’s ex-fiance, biting off her left nipple and hitting her in the head with a frying pan.

Tracey L. House, 49, who lists a 110 Webb Lane address, was taken into custody at her residence just before 4 p.m. and charged with one count of third-degree domestic battery, a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail.

House was initially held on zero bond and remained in custody Monday on $1,500 bond. She is set to appear in Garland County District Court on Aug. 8.

According to the affidavit, Hot Springs police Officer Shane Lewis responded to Noles Street in reference to a battery. As he arrived, he made contact with a woman who stated she was involved in a disturbance at her ex-fiance’s mother’s house on Webb Lane.

Lewis observed a large red mark on the woman’s chest, and redness to her left arm, and she was complaining of pain to her left nipple.

She told Lewis that House bit her then grabbed her by the hair, striking her in the side of the head with a frying pan. Lewis noted redness to the upper left portion of the woman’s head.

Lewis made contact with House at her residence to question her about the alleged attack. House reportedly admitted she had bit and struck the victim, but said she only did so after she had been shoved to the ground.

Lewis observed a red dot in the center of House’s hairline, smaller in size than a pencil eraser.

The victim’s mother stated she attempted to pull the two apart, but her daughter was already injured by that point. She and her daughter said the victim’s infant, who is House’s granddaughter, was present at the time of the incident.

The victim told Lewis she had been engaged off and on to House’s son for the past three years. She later informed Lewis that she was at the hospital and her left nipple had been detached.

• A Hot Springs man was arrested late Friday after he allegedly got into a fight where he head-butted his father and slammed his wife against the front door.

Zakgray Brantaylor Darby, 27, of 408 Charteroak Street St., was taken into custody at his residence around

10:30 p.m. and charged with two counts of third-degree domestic battery, each punishable by up to one year in jail.

He remained in custody Monday on zero bond and is set to appear Aug. 8 in district court.

According to the affidavit, Darby got into a physical altercation with his wife just before

9 p.m. as she was attempting to cook dinner. His wife told Officer Rod West everything began after she approached

Darby, who was lying on the bed, and told him she was going to the store to buy more ingredients for dinner.

She grabbed her husband’s cellphone and headed for the door. As she walked out of the residence, she said Darby yelled after her, “Give me my phone back!”

He allegedly grabbed her by the right upper arm and right wrist, twisting her arm and slamming her against the front door, while reportedly screaming obscenities at her.

She said she suffered bruising on her upper right arm and a laceration on her left elbow. Darby grabbed his phone and went back inside, she said.

Once inside, Darby allegedly walked up to his father and head-butted him, causing a small laceration in the left side of his forehead. The two fought briefly before Darby left to find his wife.

Darby’s wife stated she was walking back from the store when he ran at her in a church parking lot and reportedly began screaming, “You got my wallet!”

As Darby approached her, he allegedly grabbed her purse and slammed her to the ground. He kept swinging the purse back and forth while it was still attached to her arm, causing her

to hit the ground again with her back. He reportedly retrieved his wallet and returned to the house.

At around 10 p.m., officers responded to the residence in reference to the father and Darby fighting. The father stated that while inside the residence, Darby reportedly kicked in his front door and threw a rock at him, striking him in the right hand.

When officers arrived, the father told them his son had fled toward the back of the residence. Officers found Darby lying on the ground and took him into custody without further incident.
