Francis L. Humphreys

Francis Lambert Humphreys, 75, of Hot Springs, Ark., went to be with her Lord on July 29, 2017.

She was born to Austin and Wilma Lambert on Sept. 21, 1941.

Francis was preceded in death by her father; brother, Clois Lambert; daughter, Debbie Humphreys; sisters, Wanda Upchurch, Leota Pitts; great-grandchildren, Claudia Gregory and Daniel Hercek III.

She is survived by her mother, Wilma Chote, of Hot Springs; daughters, Becky Hercek (Daniel), of Pearcy, Lisa Gordon, of Hot Springs; sons, Robert House (Cindy), of Pearcy, Bill House (Lisa), of Royal; sisters, Jerry Murders, of Hot Springs, Sue Bradbury (Pat), of Hot Springs, Sherdan Kay Edge, of Shreveport, La.; brother, Tommy Griffith, of Malvern; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebration of Francis’ life will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with Brother David Roark and Brother Russell Phillips officiating.

Burial will follow at Lowe Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Honorary pallbearers include members of Cones Road Missionary Baptist Church and residents of Levi Towers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cones Road MBC Building Fund, 405 Cones Road, Hot Springs, AR 71901.
