Mr. and Mrs. Lon Pennington

Lon and Faye Johnston Pennington, of Pearcy, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Friday. They will take a trip at a later date.

The couple were married Aug. 25, 1967. Lon Pennington is a retired Pentecost preacher and master electrician. Faye Pennington is a retired cashier from Harvest Foods.

They are the parents of David and Becky Pennington; grandparents of Josh Pennington; and great-grandparents of Ruby Lyn Pennington.

Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Tucker

Kermit and Mary Ann Rattelsdorfer Tucker, of Hot Springs, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception and dinner in the parish hall at St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church with family and friends, and a trip to Key West with their children.

The couple were married Aug. 17, 1967, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, in Memphis, Tenn., with the Rev. W.R. Reginold officiating. Kermit Tucker is retired from Weyerhaeuser Co. and a member of Project HOPE Food Bank Board, Oaklawn Foundation Board, Downtown Rotary Club and Knights of Columbus. Mary Ann Tuck- er is a grandmother and plays tennis. They are member of St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church, Men of Mary and Women of Mary, and like to travel.

They are the parents of Troy and Elesha Tucker, of Lubbock, Texas, Tracey and Eric Elder, of Bluffton, S.C., and Trent and Cindy Tucker, of Frisco, Texas; and grandparents of Zoe Tucker, Ashley, Anna and Avery Elder, Ellie and Austen Tucker, and Hope and Hannah Coles.
