Board of directors OKs committee appointments

The Hot Springs Board of Directors adopted resolutions last week approving the following appointments to city committees:

• Airport advisory committee — Edward Schwass, Scott Lauck and Larry Prentiss. Their terms expire in May 2021.

• Animal control advisory committee — Richard “Dick” Antoine, Sandy Deary and Sandy Scott. Their terms expire in May 2021.

• Board of adjustments and appeals/board of zoning adjustment — Jerome Dugan. His term expires in May 2020.

• Community development advisory committee — Kelly Cowart, District 1; Terry Kent, at-large; and Leslie Ramsey, atlarge. Their terms expire in May

2021.

• Historic district commission — Gary Jackson, Central Avenue Historic District; Mary Moore, Pleasant Street Historic District; and Long Hua Xu, Central Avenue Historic District. Their terms expire in April

2020.

• Parks and trails advisory committee — Gaylon Boshears, Samantha Christian, Drew Knowles and Julie Nix. Their terms expire in May 2021.

• Planning commission — Joe Goslee Jr., District 3; Erin Holliday, District 1; Rick Ramick, county; and Brian White, District 4. Their terms expire May 2020.

• Transportation advisory committee — Jackie Mathis and Brian McIntyre. Their terms expire May 2021.

• Urban Forestry Committee — Adrianne Leigh Brooks and Regine Skelton. Their terms expire May 2021.

Unfilled positions remain on the community development advisory committee, the parks and trails advisory committee, the transportation advisory committee and the urban forestry committee.
