Rosa L. Ballew

Rosa Lee Ballew, 91, of Hot Springs, went to be with her heavenly Father on Aug. 19,

2017, and joined her beloved husband of 65 years, Darrell Ballew.

She was born on March 17,

1926, in Avant.

Loving survivors include her son, Rickey Ballew and wife, Linda; her daughter, Pat Ballew Terry and husband, Shelby; grandchildren, Leann and Glenn Noles and Richard Ballew; great-grandchildren, Lauren and Colt Sharp and Ricky Joe Ballew (deceased); great-great-granddaughters, Ellie and Emma Sharp; and sister, Ima Jean Gossett and husband, Junior.

She is predeceased by her parents, James Monroe Minton and Lizzie V. (Cass) Minton; sisters, Lorene Hatmaker, Reecie Keener and Ella Minton, who died when she was

15 years old; brothers, Cecil Minton and Floyd Minton.

Visitation is 5-7 p.m. today at Caruth Village Funeral Home in Hot Springs Village.

Funeral service will be at

10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Brother Rick Merryman and Brother Jimmie Scott officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Colt Sharp, Jerry Keener, Bobby Keener, Kenneth Keener, Dwight Godwin and Tom McJunkens.

The family wishes to thank Village Springs Nursing Facility and especially the staff of the second wing for the exceptional care given to their Mom. Thank you also to Dierksen Hospice for their dedication and care of the family during their Mom’s last days.
