Robert Brines

Robert “Bob” Brines, age 79, of Hot Springs, died Saturday, August 19, 2017.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Brother Billy Blackmon officiatin­g.

Victor C. Ecklund

Victor C. Ecklund, 84, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., passed away Friday, August 25, 2017.

Visitation will be 3–5 p.m. Wednesday at Hot Springs Funeral Home.

Service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary in Minneapoli­s, Minn.

Burial will be in Fort Snelling, Minn., with full military honors.

Raymond M. Hamrock

Raymond M. Hamrock, 87, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 22, 2017, at his home.

He is survived by his children, Ruth Goyette, Janet Groeger (David), Kurt Hamrock (Ky Ta), Karen Robertson (David) and grandchild­ren, Giselle, Wil and Marion.

The children give their deepest thanks to the families on Valls Lane and to Nora Griffith for the friendship and loving care they shared with their father.

Timothy C. Humphries

Timothy Chase Humphries, 22, of Hot Springs, was born September 7, 1994, and went to be with the Lord August

23, 2017.

Chase was the heart and soul of his family. He loved deeply and was loved beyond measure by them and all who knew him. Every room he entered was brightened by his smile. He had a gentle spirit and was generous to a fault. His love for God was expressed in the many poems and songs that he composed. Chase loved fishing, disc golf, basketball and many other activities, but most of all, just being with his many friends whom he loved dearly. Countless stories of his kindness to others have been pouring in. He always had a word of encouragem­ent and a positive outlook.

Chase was predecease­d by his grandfathe­rs Randy Humphries and Ronnie Teague, but will forever be loved and missed by his mother, Cheryl Humphries (Eddie Lockridge); his father, Jay Kyle Humphries (Courtney Pathman); brother, Hunter Humphries; sister, Devin Humphries; grandparen­ts, Kerry and Jenny Olson (Goombah and Nani) and Fred and Darlene Harvey; great-grandparen­ts, Jim and Judy Olson; his fiancée, Jesse Jones; uncle, Ty Humphries; aunt, Alicia Johns; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Chase’s funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August

30, 2017, at the River of Life Church with Brother Lafoy Parker delivering his eulogy. A visitation for family and friends will be from 12 p.m. till 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
