Updated Blues Festival schedule released

An updated schedule and lineup for the 21st annual Hot Springs Blues Festival has been released. The festival is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday in downtown Hot Springs at Hill Wheatley Plaza, with additional events scheduled for today through Friday at The Big Chill.

Festival tickets are $20 per day and can be purchased online at www.spacityblues.org.

The Big Chill events

• Today — Hump Night Blues Jam with special guests, 8 p.m.

• Thursday — Buddy Flett, 8 p.m.

• Friday — Spa City Blues Society IBC Band Competition, followed by a performance and jam by The Stella Vees, 8 p.m.

Workshops will be held on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at The Hotel Hot Springs & Spa.

• 3:15-3:45 p.m. — Buddy Flett.

• 4-4:45 p.m. — SCBS IBC Band winner announced.

• 5-6 p.m. — Al Hill, 2017 IBC Solo/

Duo winner.

• 6:15-7:15 p.m. — The Stella Vees.

• 7:30-8:30 p.m. — Akeem Kemp Band.

• 8:45-10 p.m. — John Nemeth & The Blue Dreamers.

• 10:15 p.m. — Festival grounds closed. Sunday

• 1 p.m. — Gates open.

• 1:45-2:15 p.m. — Jelly Brown & Kathy Kidd, with guests.

• 2:30-3:15 p.m. — Spa City Youngbloods.

• 3:30-4:30 p.m. — Hoodoo Blues Revue.

• 4:45-5:45 p.m. — John Calvin Brewer Band.

• 6-7 p.m. — Nandha Blues.

• 7:15-8:30 p.m. — Nikki Hill.

• 8:45-10 p.m. — Anthony Gomes.

• 10:30 p.m. — Festival grounds closed.
