Dr. William John Fleming III, of Philadephi­a, and Dr. Stephanie R. Grise, of Hot Springs, were married in a 7:30 p.m. ceremony June 10 at Loews New Orleans Hotel with David Gearhart officiatin­g.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley A. Grise Jr., of Hot Springs; and granddaugh­ter of the late Gillie and Jewell Harmon and Stanley and Sybil Grise. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Fleming II, of Fort Smith; and grandson of the late Sol and Edith Pecker and William and Gloria Fleming.

The altar had a panoramic view of the city with an arch flanked with ivory flowing drapes and white hydrangea clusters, peach stock and green hanging amaranthus.

A succulent was planted symbolizin­g the love of the couple and the union of the two families.

Will Watson, Caleb Rose and John Rigdon served as ushers.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a gown with lace accents, an ultra-feminine fitand-flare silhouette crafted from a combinatio­n of ivory lace and satin, which featured an off-theshoulde­r bodice with a bateau neckline and sheer illusion accents with a bare look from the back that was trimmed with a row of covered buttons that ran from the back of the neck to the edge of the hem. The waistline was adorned with with sparking silver beadwork with a natural waist. The veil had a rolled edge and silver stitching.

Kelsey Coleman served as matron of honor. Bridesmaid­s were Lindsey Weston, Kelly Simpson, Emily Harbuck, Shannon Grise, sister-in-law of the bride, Katie Hargrove, sister of the bridegroom, and Erica Harmon.

Daniel Fleming, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were William J. Fleming, Johnny Rigdon, Caleb Rose, Scott Grise, brother of the bride, Moe Hargrove, brother-inlaw of the bridegroom, and Will Watson.

Anna Jewell Grise, niece of the bride, and Frankie Barling, niece of the bridegroom, served as flower girls; and Finn Barling, nephew of the bridegroom, served as ring bearer.

Kaitlyn Ducote, Mallory Debnam and Leigh Ann Griffin served as guest book attendants.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the Louisiana Ballroom of the hotel.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Philadelph­ia. The bride is a dental medicine resident at Einstein Hospital, in Philadelph­ia, and the bridegroom is a research director for the Ian McHarg Center at the University of Pennsylvan­ia, in Philadelph­ia.
