Although he was only with us for three short years, he will remain in our heart for a lifetime. Amyrhe was born April 11, 2014, in Hot Springs, to My’Liea Thrower and Michael Turner. Mark H. Withey
Mark Howard Withey, age
68, took his last breath on Sept.
11, 2017, after a protracted illness at Baptist Hospital. He went to be with our Savior Jesus Christ and his parents Gertrude (Trudy) and Joseph (Joe) Withey, formerly of Hot Springs Village.
He is survived on Earth by his brother, David Lloyd Withey, of Tempe, Ariz., his Aunt Ethel Kerschner, of Pennsylvania, his Uncle Conrad Balliet, of Ohio, numerous cousins and many caregivers who blessed his life.
Mark was a longtime resident at Small Group in Hot Springs and, recently, at the Arkansas Health Center in Benton. In Hot Springs, he could often be seen walking to Burger King for a Coke and to church at Park Avenue Baptist and later First Presbyterian, carrying his Bible wherever he went.
Mark was known for sharing jokes, even with strangers; his comic book collection; and an occasional song. Mark had a keen awareness of the difference between his wants and needs. He will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Caruth Village Funeral Home chapel.
