Diamond Bank names new market president for Hot Springs

Diamond Bank announced the promotion of Sean Mullenix to market president of Hot Springs, effective Sept. 12.

Mac McClanahan, president of Diamond Bank, said in the press release, “Having been a community banker for 12 years, Sean believes in the type of relationsh­ip-based community banking that Diamond Bank embraces. I am excited about the meaningful influence Sean will have for our customers in the tri- lakes area. He will ensure that our customers continue to receive the friendly and personal service that Diamond Bank has always provided. I hope that everyone will join me in congratula­ting Sean on his promotion as he takes this important step forward in his career.”

Previously, Mullenix was a loan officer at Diamond Bank’s Lake Hamilton branch, 1135 Airport Road. He has a record in community bank leadership, relationsh­ip management, loan production and credit administra­tion. A graduate from Mount Ida High School in 1993, Mullenix went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Business Administra­tion from the University of Arkansas at Fayettevil­le in 1998. He graduated from the Southweste­rn Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in 2012.

Just recently, Mullinex graduated from the Leadership Hot Springs program, Class XXX.

Mullenix and his family reside in Royal. He has three daughters, Tia, Beth Ann and Jacey. He is a member of Jessievill­e First Baptist Church and enjoys spending time outdoors, playing and watching sports, and spending time with his girls.
