Music, dance performanc­es set for The Local Show Saturday

The Local Show Music Menagerie lineup for September will include music by Jacob Flores, Sarah Haman with John Haman and Doug Lackey on piano, Chana and Randy Caylor with guest Chris Ryland on fiddle, and the dance artistry of Gianna St. Grace.

The show will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Life Center Arts, 315 Park Ave. Tickets are $10 at the door.

Flores is a 24-year-old singer and songwriter who was born in Lubbock, Texas, and raised in Hot Springs. His music features live looping of an eclectic repertoire of Latin American and American styles. He recently released his debut album, “No Borders.” The album blends contempora­ry mariachi music with classic soul, gospel and rhythm and blues.

St. Grace has studied the art of belly dance for more than seven years. She began performing in small shows in her hometown of Mena as a tribal fusion dancer. She studied American Tribal Style belly dance with Deb Weddle and obtained her ATS certificat­ion from Fat Chance Belly Dance. She is working on the four phases of the 8 Elements approach to belly dance with tribal fusion dancer Rachel Brice in Portland, Ore.

Sarah Haman is from the Gulf Coast. With a background in musical theater, she performs show tunes, standards, pop and country music. She works in Hot Springs as a drama teacher and part-time performer.
