True meaning of ‘pro-choice’

This is my Christian response to Linda Woodbury’s pro-abortion letter:
How right and noble you misguided liberals try to make yourselves sound when arguing that there is nothing inherently and morally wrong with the murderous act of abortion! You put a positive kind of label on yourselves as being pro-choice.
If the true meaning of that label is spelled out plainly, it just means that you are saying that a mother somehow has the right to choose to murder her unborn baby! And you call the unborn baby a fetus, so it doesn’t really sound like you are killing an actual human being.
Murder is always wrong and I’m sure that the only way you folks can live with yourselves about this most serious issue is to pretend that it is really not much different from exterminating termites or cockroaches from your house! Just kill the unwanted little pests and be done with it all! After all, that certainly is your right, now isn’t it? Or is it? For insects, yes indeed — for unborn human babies — absolutely not!
What is really needed is to honestly face exactly what this barbaric act really is, instead of trying to gloss it over with positive-sounding labels and all kinds of convincing-sounding arguments in an attempt to excuse this terrible sin! The bottom line is that truthfully, it is nothing more than a callous, coldhearted murder of an innocent unborn baby!
Murder is certainly always wrong. One of God’s Ten Commandments clearly states: “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13).
Wouldn’t it really be more honest if you would label yourselves “pro-murder” instead of pro-choice? People who are against the killing of unborn babies are rightfully labeled pro-life! They are also pro-God whenever they obey what God clearly commands.
Actually, everyone who rightfully respects God as the one who properly makes the rules knows that God has already declared what is right and wrong on this matter. If Jesus Christ is truly your Lord, you will let Him choose for you. If you really love God through his Son Jesus Christ, you will do exactly what pleases Him. The Bible clearly tells us that Jesus says, “If you love Me, you will obey what I command” (John 14:15).
This is certainly the correct way for a mother to make the right choice for her baby. None of us can fool God about what we do and some day we will have to give an account to Him for everything we have done in this earthly life. We will be judged by God.
Linda Woodbury calls herself one of those who is for the right to have an abortion, or as they say, pro-choice, but you claim that you all are really not for abortion. You really can’t straddle the fence on this issue!
You are either for or against abortion. Your letter took the abortion side.
