Junior Rams rout Hope on road, 42-12

HOPE — Isaac Echols scored three first-half touchdowns as Lakeside’s ninth-grade football team, jolted early by Hope, rolled to a 42-12 win Thursday night.

Echols scored on a 44-yard pass from Will Ross and ran 31 and 2 yards for touchdowns after Hope scored first. It was 35-12 at halftime after Ross passed 4 yards to Logan White and 42 yards to Ty Davis for touchdowns. Echols (two) and Alvaro Berragan ran for two-point conversion­s.

Ross completed seven of 10 passes for 185 yards and Andrew Cox passed 30 yards to Kaimani Gray for the Rams. Brandon Dyberg netted 85 yards on 17 Lakeside carries.

Davis had two catches for 67 yards, Daniel Gaston two for 56 yards, Echols two for 44 yards and Will Perrigo one reception for 14 yards.

Lakeside won the eighth- grade game 8-0 with Noah Duvall hauling in a 3-yard touchdown pass from Jordan Mills and Pierce Smalley adding the two-point conversion.

Jessievill­e-HHG

HASKELL — Carson Hair passed for three touchdowns as Jessievill­e’s junior high downed Haskell Harmony Grove 22-0 Thursday night.

Hair passed 60 yards to Charlie Davis in the first quarter for a 6-0 lead and later connected with Landon Daily on scoring plays of 46 and 15 yards. Hair ran for a pair of two-p0int conversion­s.

With 149 yards on the ground, Jessievill­e outgained Harmony Grove 282-146. The Lions go to Gurdon next week.

LHJH-Conway White

CONWAY — Conway White blanked Lake Hamilton until early in the fourth quarter of a 33-6 victory Thursday night.

Carlos Brewer ran four yards to set the final score with 7:56 left in the game. The two-point attempt failed.

Irtie Wilson passed 54 yards to Mac Barton

for a first-quarter toucdhdown. Jay Wilson ran eight and three yards for second-quarter scores, and Matthew Campbell scored second-half TDs on a 51-yard run and a 20-yard fumble return.

Brewer finished with 20 carries for 119 yards and had two receptions for 25 yards. Layne Warrick had seven tackles and Matthew Doyle, Baxter Dickson and Izaiah Clenney five each for the Wolves (1-5), who play at North Little Rock next week.

Lake Hamilton’s eighth- grade team (4-2) beat Conway White 36-27.
