The summit will be held from 3-6:30 p.m. at Henderson State’s Community Education Center, 640 S. Sixth St.
A $65 registration fee is required to attend. Veterans can attend for free.
To register, call 870-230-5184 or go online at asbtdc.org/training/arkadelphia-events.
The “Starting a Business in Arkansas” seminar is meant to prepare participants for the business planning process, identify major steps crucial to starting a business, discuss key issues that affect business success, and highlight startup requirements and common pitfalls entrepreneurs will face.
The “How to Write a Business Plan” seminar spells out the business planning process in detail. Business plans help
to define concepts, evaluate the competition, analyze markets, determine risks and estimate financial potential.
Business plans are required to obtain small business loans. Participants are taught the importance of planning and the elements that go into a good plan. The seminar is recommended as a first step for new entrepreneurs.
