BISMARCK — Kathy Pasley, sixth-grade science and social studies teacher and parent involvement coordinator at Bismarck Middle School recently reached out to thank participants who helped the school launch its Muffins with Mom event this year.
“We are so excited to say that 137 moms and students showed up for the Muffins with Mom event,” Pasley said.
Pasley wanted to recognize Bismarck Middle School principal Ellen Coleman for all of her hard work in organizing the event, as well as recognize all of the hard working teachers for taking class time out of their schedule to pass out the information slips and taking up responses to the invitations.
“Alicia Robertson and Tina Smoke, thank you so much for making phone calls and collecting forms,” Pasley said. “You are truly the best.”
Pasley also wanted to thank Katie Smith-Johnson, the new art teacher at the middle school, and Kaydie Jordan, eighthgrade student, for the posters they made to cover the cafeteria door. She also recognized cafeteria workers Dana Berry and Lauren Collins for helping set up.
“Thank you so much for the muffins and juice,” Pasley said. “It was delicious.”
Pasley said she also wanted to thank all of the teachers who watched classes for her and Julia Hancock, library media specialist, for use of the library.
