Job Fair, Business Expo set for Thursday

The Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce is set to host its annual Job Fair in conjunctio­n with the Business Expo from 1-3 p.m. Thursday at the Hot Springs Convention Center in halls C and D.

The Job Fair will provide individual­s with access to employers seeking talented candidates in every discipline, from hospitalit­y and health care to finance, education, telecommun­ications and everything in between.

“The Hot Springs Job Fair will bring together local businesses and our community’s skilled workforce to help businesses grow and positively impact Garland county’s economic vitality,” said President & CEO Gary Troutman. “Job Fairs help local business find qualified job seekers in the community which creates opportunit­ies for Garland County residents to work close to home. This not only supports our economy, it also reduces the need for residents to commute long distances and work outside of their community.”
