A traffic stop in Hot Springs Village led to multiple narcotics charges for a Hot Springs man Thursday.

Jordan Ryan Stone, who lists a Peterson Trail address, was taken into custody at around 7:30 p.m. Thursday and charged with felony counts of simultaneous pos- session of drugs and firearms, punishable by up to life in prison, possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, punishable by up to six years in prison, and possession of drug paraphernalia, punishable by up to six years in prison.

He remained in custody in lieu of zero bond and was set to be arraigned in Garland County

District Court on Friday.

According to the probable cause affidavit,

Hot Springs Village police observed a Dodge challenger traveling at 56 mph in a 35 mph zone, and an officer initiated a traffic stop.

The driver, identified as Stone, provided the officer with an ID card only, due to having a suspended driver’s license. The Clark County Sheriff’s Department contacted the officer and said they would pick up Stone at the Garland County Detention Center, as he had a warrant out of Clark County.

Officers found Stone in possession of a firearm, a loose round, drug paraphernalia and 104.93 grams of marijuana while doing a tow log on the vehicle.
