Blood drives scheduled throughout coming week

Arkansas Blood Institute will conduct blood drives at the following locations and times during the week:

• Monday — 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Bismarck High School cafeteria stage.

• Tuesday — 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Bloodmobile at Triumph Airborne Structures, 115 Centennial Drive.

• Wednesday — 8-10:30 a.m., Bloodmobile at Keith Smith Co.,

130 K-Tech Lane, Mid-America Industrial Park; 12:30-3 p.m., Bloodmobile at Timber Automation, 400 Aviation Plaza at McCleod Street.

• Thursday — 8:30 a.m. to

12:30 p.m., Ouachita High School gym, Donaldson.

• Saturday — 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bloodmobile at Walmart, Malvern.

• Sunday, Nov. 19 — Noon to 4 p.m., Bloodmobile at Center Fork Baptist Church, 1101 S. Moore Road.

Donors must be at least 16 years old and have a photo I.D. Donors will receive a Hog Wild T-shirt, health screening, and refreshments. All donations support Arkansas hospitals, with priority to the two area general acute-care hospitals. Donors may credit a patient at any hospital who has or needs a blood transfusion. There is no substitute for blood, which has a 42-day expiration date. Donors can give every eight weeks.
