MOUNTAIN PINE — Virginia J. Ford, age 66, of Mountain Pine, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017.

She was born on Dec. 8, 1950, in Little Rock, the daughter of Richard Lewis and Gertie Goodwin Lewis. She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Ford Jr.; her son-inlaw, William Melancen Jr.; her granddaugh­ter-in-law, Jordyn Melancen; her parents; two brothers, Johnnie Lewis and William Lewis; and her sister, Joyce Ward.

Virginia was of the Pentecosta­l faith. She worked for more than 30 years at Triumph Fabricatio­n. Virginia enjoyed reading books, spending time with her family, especially her grandchild­ren, and shopping at Wal-Mart.

She is survived by her daughter, Regina Melancen, of Hot Springs; four grandchild­ren, Christofer Melancen and Kelsey Melancen, both of Hot Springs, Kevin and Brina Ford and Justin Ford, all of Mountain Pine; four great-grandchild­ren, Kinsley Stevens, Kyler Melancen and Braylin Spencer, all of Hot Springs, and Aria Ford, of Mountain Pine; two brothers and one sisterin-law, Elbert and Sue Lewis, of Mountain Pine, and Ricky Lewis, of Royal; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Sherry Daley, of Royal, and Rhonda and Tony Robinson, of Hot Springs; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
