BONNERDALE — Wendy Gail Smith, age 54, of Bonnerdale, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017.

She was born on Oct. 16,

1963, in Hot Springs, Ark., the daughter of Willie Speers and Kathy Lancaster Speers. On Oct.

27, 1984, she married Karl Stanley Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She was a member of the Bismarck Pentecosta­l Church and the joy of the Lord radiated from her everywhere she went. Wendy was a true nurturer and was a comfort to everyone that was in need of strength. Wendy and Stan loved to take buggy rides together around the farm, she truly enjoyed the outdoors and going camping at the lake. Stan was always the love of her life, but her children were loved beyond measure, Devin, Karlee and Landon. She loved spending days with her daughter and granddaugh­ter, “Berklee;” she loved shopping and the time she spent with all of her family. She was lovingly known as “Lolli” to her grandchild­ren, and Stan is known as “Pop,” and this was a wonderful example of their love. Landon and Wendy enjoyed going on mother and son dates to go out to eat dinner and go to the movies. Her other love of her life was her precious Maltese, “Dexter,” who was always loyal and at her side.

Wendy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Karl Stanley Smith, of Bonnerdale; two sons and daughter-in-law, Devin Smith, of Hot Springs, and Landon and Heather Smith, of Bonnerdale; her daughter and son-in-law, Karlee and Roger Kellar, of Hot Springs; her grandchild­ren, Berklee Gail Kellar, Oaklyn Dale Kellar and Violet Anna Smith; her brothers and two sisters-in-law, Dale Speers, Daren and Martha Speers and Chad and Tessa Speers, all of Hot Springs; her sister, Tamra Speers, of Hot Springs; nieces, nephews, extended family members and many wonderful friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, in the Mount Tabor Community Church, Glenwood, with Brother Van Glidewell officiatin­g.

Visitation will be held from

6-8 p.m. today at Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.

Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery, Glenwood.

Pallbearer­s will be Landon Smith, Roger Kellar, Devin Smith, Dale Speers, Daren Speers and Chad Speers.

Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Kota and her nurses; second floor staff at National Park Medical Center, employees of S&S Plumbing and a host of family and friends.
