Five Star to present Elvis tribute artist
The Five Star Dinner Theatre, 701 Central Ave., in downtown Hot Springs will present a show by Elvis tribute artist Walt Sanders today and Friday. Each performance begins at 7 p.m. with an optional all-you-can-eat buffet dinner at 6 p.m. Meals will be prepared in the theater’s new kitchen.
According to a news release, Sanders is one of the leading Elvis tribute artists in the nation. Based in Ohio, he takes his show on the road nearly every week and has been heralded as one of the leading tribute acts in the business by numerous celebrities and corporations.
“Walt is as sincere as I remember Elvis being and works at his craft the same. A true gentleman and great talent,” said Ray Walker of Elvis’ backup group, the Jordanaires, in the release. According to the release, Sanders has the passion of Elvis and has worked with the Jordanaires in the past.
“I’ve sung with Elvis tribute artists all over the country many, many times. I have met none like Walt Sanders. He not only has the talent, but has the passion that’s necessary to keep Elvis’ memory alive,” Butch Owen of the famous Stamps Quartet said.
Show-only tickets are $25 and dinner-and-a-show tickets are $40 plus tax. Children’s tickets are available upon request. Reservations can be made by calling 318-1600.
The Five Star Dinner Theatre is celebrating its 31st year of bringing quality entertainment to Hot Springs.
