Linda M. Archambeau­lt

Linda M. Archambeau­lt passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at the age of 57.

She was born in Chicago, Ill., to William and Mary Grant (Gordon) on Sept. 22, 1960. Linda cherished her family, friends and her church. Her faith in the Lord was strong, her smile was genuine and she truly loved helping people.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary L. Edgar.

Linda leaves behind her husband, Andre Archambeau­lt; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Billy Murray; her son, William Archambeau­lt; her sister, Margaret Standridge; her beloved grandchild­ren, Ian Raines, Emily Murray, Molly Murray and Wyatt Murray; nieces and nephews, Torrey Akkerman (Elizabeth), Mandi Ashley (Aaron), Lauren Rogge (Robert), Joseph Akkerman (Amber) and Jaylee Standridge.

A celebratio­n of life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at LakePointe Church with Pastor Greg Bearss officiatin­g.

Anne Bailey

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Anne Bailey, age 74, of Hot Springs Village, Ark., passed away into Glory, peacefully surrounded by family and friends, on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017.

She was born in Memphis, Tenn., on Nov. 10, 1943.

Anne leaves behind her husband of 54 years, John Bailey.

Anne was a Mama and a Nannie. She loved life, her family, friends and her church.

Anne also leaves behind two sons, Jeffrey Thomas, of Guntersvil­le, Ala., and John Anthony (Jack) Bailey (Jamy), of Austin, Texas. She also leaves four grandchild­ren, Chandler Elizabeth, Jordan Taylor, Hunter Thomas and Kennedy Brooke, who will miss her dearly. Anne has two sisters, Syd Miller, of Springfiel­d, Mo., and Becki Kelley, of Jefferson City, Mo.; and one brother, David Shirley, of Dallas, Texas. Anne’s memory will also be cherished by sisters-in-law, Beverly Landers and Charlene Bailey; and two brothers-in-law, Jim Bailey and Don Kelley.

Chery B. Barnes

LAKE WALES, Fla. — Chery Bonn Barnes, born Jan. 23, 1962, passed on Dec. 4, 2017.

She was conceived by her father, William Bonn, and mother, Betty Darby.

She has three sons, Keven Taylor, wife Sita Taylor, Jason Taylor, Steven Taylor. She has seven grandchild­ren. She has five sisters, two brothers, Tommy Bonn, Shelia Bonn, Sharon Jean Smith, Sandy George, Michael Bonn, Glenda Estell, Debra Harvey.

She will be dearly missed, our hearts will always be with her, but she is in heaven with Jesus. We will always love her.

Funeral arrangemen­ts will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, at Bismarck Pentecosta­l Church, 2159 Arlie Moore. Brother Van will be doing the services.

In memory of Chery, who has left us, may this light rise to heaven to shine with you through all eternity. We love and miss you always.

Robert L. Michael

LARGO, Fla. — Robert Lee Michael passed Dec. 6, 2017, in Largo, Fla., with his wife and son by his side, after losing his battle with bone cancer.

Survivors include wife, Ruth Flesher Moore; son, Steven Michael (Von), of Magnet Cove; daughters, Sherry Franks, Stacie Davis (Scotty) and Carla Moore; sister, Martha Yoho Craig (Jack); grandchild­ren, Sierra Franks, Houston Franks, Brady Michael, Brenna Michael, Cody Davis, Rachel Hoaglund, Stephen Caltrider, Johnny Everett, Cody Moore, Samantha Moore and Ashley Moore; great-grandsons, Alrik and Joren Hoaglund.

Burial at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Sheridan, Ark. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

J. Dean Mooney

MALVERN — J. Dean Mooney, 82, of Malvern, passed Dec. 6, 2017.

Born Aug. 1, 1935, in Prattsvill­e, Ark., to Clifton Mooney and Ila Faye (Stuckey) Mooney. He was a United States Army veteran and retired from Precision. He was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughter, Charlotte Davis; brothers, Darrell Jordan (Lou), Terry Jordan (Cindy); sisters, Linda Womble (Eugene) and Wanda Steed (Mel); special friend, Wilma Ditzig; grandchild­ren, Jessica McDougal (fiance Junior Hill), Lance McDougal, Dylan Davis; great-grandchild­ren, Logan Paul, Lainee Burnett and Levi Dyer.

Visitation is 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at Regency Funeral Home.

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at Regency Funeral Home. Burial at Philadelph­ia Cemetery.

Gene T. Outler

Gene T. Outler, 87, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017.

He was born on Oct. 17, 1930, in Hot Springs, to the late Van and Lonnie Outler.

Gene was preceded in death by his parents and brother, J.R. Outler.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Blanche Norman Outler; daughter, Janet Hunter (Coy); son, Randy Outler (Lynn); granddaugh­ters, Tara Hunter Barrett (Shane), Shadda Hunter Tapp (Tylar), Courtney Outler Broughton (Todd) and Amber Outler Smyly (Drew); three great-grandsons and two great-granddaugh­ters; sister, Vana Sue Bradley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In earlier years, Gene worked as a brick mason in many states. In 1957, he surrendere­d to the ministry. Gene graduated from Missionary Baptist Seminary and Institute with a Bachelor’s in Bible Languages. He pastored multiple churches in Arkansas and led revivals in several states. Gene finished his ministry preaching at West Shores for over 20 years.

Pallbearer­s will be Bruce Carlton, Allen Bass, Shane Barrett, Tylar Tapp, Drew Smyly and Todd Broughton.

Honorary pallbearer­s include Brenda Plummer, Earnestine Rowe, Dr. Nizar Suleman, Troy Keaton, Junior Saling, Don Stolpe, members of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphi­a, and members of Centerfork Missionary Baptist Church.

A special thank you to Arkansas Inservice Hospice.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

A celebratio­n of Gene’s life will be 10 a.m. Monday in Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel with Brother Lynn Baxter and Brother Bill Driggers officiatin­g.

Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Lonnie V. Short

POINT CEDAR — Lonnie V. Short, age 74, of Point Cedar, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017.

He was born on Oct. 30, 1943, in Hot Springs, the son of Jerry Short and Estelle Chambers Short. On June 7, 1968, he married Jane Farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jimmy Short and Wayland Short; and one sister, Betty Kahlden.

Lonnie was a member of the Church of Christ and retired from the Mount Ida School District.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Short, of Point Cedar; his son, Nathan Short, of Point Cedar; his daughter and sonin-law, Loree and James Joseph, of Benton; five grandchild­ren, Haden Short, Rex Short, Chloe Joseph, Max Joseph and Aymarie Short; one sister, Patsy Short, of Wagoner, Okla.; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of wonderful friends.

Honorary pallbearer­s will be the doctors and staff of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs, ICU and Arkansas Hospice.
