Workbook available on chiropractics for animals

-

Dr. William L. Schmidt has written a workbook on chiropractic needs for animals.

“People often ask me how they would know if their animal needed chiropractic care,” said Schmidt in the preface of his workbook, “Animal Chiropractic: The Visual Workbook.”

“Many times the problem will be glaring, other times the problem may only be a very subtle change in gait. In this book, I have used photographs of horses as the areas discussed are easier to see on a large animal. The conditions are similar in smaller animals and will get easier for you to recognize as you practice visualizing on large animals.

The script and pictures show a few structural alterations that are often observed in sore horses and should give a basis to determine if animals need chiropractic care. “These pictures are in no way complete as to the problems that can occur in the life of an animal, but they will cover many of the structural alterations that can be treated by an AVCA certified animal chiropractic professional,” continued Schmidt in the press release.

Areas covered in the workbook include visual structural alterations, terminology, visual physical characteristics, healing with equine infrared and neurological effects.
