Hot Springs Carousel Readers’ Theater entertains audiences with performances emphasizing humor and enthusiasm. The group is unique in that actors remain behind music stands, acting out characters using facial expressions,
voice and gestures. There is limited memorization since actors have scripts in front of them. People of all ages interested in theatrical study and performance are welcome to attend meetings from 10:30 a.m. to noon Fridays at Garland County Library. Appearances are free, however, donations are welcome to cover expenses. Members are interested in appearing for fundraising events. Hot Springs Bicycle Association is a nonprofit organization of cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts that focuses on bicycle awareness and safety in Hot Springs. Members volunteer time to the maintenance and beautification of bike accessible trail systems in Hot Springs and the surrounding area.
