Levi Hospital

Offering superior care

-

Levi Hospital is one of the oldest and longest serving hospitals in the state of Arkansas, having opened its doors on Nov. 1, 1914. Since that date, Levi Hospital has gained a reputation of providing superior care within its defined services.

Levi has always focused on meeting the community health needs. The hospital is well recognized for its work within Outpatient Rehabilitation, and for the fourth year running received The Sentinel-Record

Reader’s Choice Award for best Outpatient Physical Therapy Provider. Whether you are seeking care for recovery from surgery, stroke, or injury, our staff of professionals will work to make sure you are in the best physical shape possible upon completion of your therapy.

Levi Hospital is proud to announce the opening of our new satellite clinic (formerly located in the YMCA) at 147 Section Line Road. Physical therapy services are provided at this clinic and now Women’s Health physical therapy services are being offered, as well. If you have questions regarding any of the services or how to obtain a referral, contact our main campus clinic at 501-622-3334 or the satellite clinic at 501622-3336. If your doctor prescribes therapy, ask them to refer you to Levi Hospital. You have a choice when it comes to the care you receive.

In addition, the hospital is well-recognized throughout the entire state for its work with those with psychiatric disorders, as it is one of the few hospitals that will take patients from 18 years of age and up. As an adjunct to the Inpatient Programming, the hospital offers a well-structured Outpatient Psychiatric Program known as Transitions Counseling. Levi Transitions Outpatient Behavioral Health provides outpatient counseling for adults who suffer from depression and anxiety, as well as other disorders that impair their ability to live normal lives. The program helps people who are facing significant life issues such as relationship problems, difficulty coping with stress, and bereavement. Referrals to the program are made by family doctors and various local agencies, as well as by individuals themselves.

The goal of Transitions treatment is to help clients regain peace and stability, as

well as a sense of meaning in their lives. Transitions clinical and support staff work to maintain a safe and supportive environment. Therapy is provided by licensed therapists who are trained and experienced in working with the mental health issues that adults face. In addition to the therapists, Transitions has on staff a full-time registered nurse and an advanced practice nurse. The program is overseen by a board-certified psychiatrist. If you or someone you know suffers from feelings of emptiness or sadness, difficulty sleeping (or sleeping too much), low energy, loss of interest, difficulty concentrating, no appetite, or negative self-worth, please give Transitions a call at 501-622-3580. A preadmission inquiry will be scheduled to determine if Transitions services can be helpful to you.
