Eugene Cockrell, 82, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away March 7, 2018.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home.

Johnnie Conway Sr.

HOPE — Johnnie Conway Sr., age 93, of Hope, Ark., passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018.

Johnnie will be missed and remembered by his sister, Maxine Hannah and her husband, Greg, of Hot Springs, Ark., and a host and other relatives and friends.

Johnnie’s home going celebratio­n will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Brown Chapel Church of Christ, in Washington, Ark. The eulogy will be delivered by the Rev. Edward Lard, pastor. His earthly body will be laid to rest at Moss Cemetery in Washington, Ark. There will be a visitation for family and friends from 5-7 p.m. today, March 9, 2018, at Brandon’s Mortuary in Hope.

MALVERN — Morris Lucious McCoy, age 60, of Malvern, Ark., passed away on Sunday March 4, 2018, while in the comfort of his home.

He was born in Malvern on May 14, 1957, to loving parents, Elder Billy McCoy Sr. and Missionary Ardella Heard-McCoy.

JESSIEVILL­E — Jessie Mahota Rowe, age 87, of Jessievill­e, Ark., passed away March 7, 2018.

She was born on Dec. 14, 1930, in Tuttle, Okla., to William and Mary (Hill) Hawks.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Caruth Village Funeral Home in Hot Springs Village.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

Jacqueline J. Thompson

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. — Jacqueline “Jackie” Jordan Thompson, age 56, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

She was born July 21, 1961, in Leland, Miss., to the late Bearbra Coleman and Saddie Jordan Coleman.

Jackie was a graduate of Hot Springs High Class of 1979. She was a former employee of First Step, Nestle Factory in Kentucky and Area Aging on Aging. She attended Nazarene Baptist Church and Gospel Mission Church of God in Christ before moving to Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Survivors include her husband, Brian Thompson, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; her children, Monique (Lindaniel) West and Michael Jordan, all of Hot Springs; her sibling, Albert (Lisa) Jordan, Diablo (Dimetrice) Coleman, Paris Jordan, all of Hot Springs, Cliff Edward (Linda) Coleman, of Lexington, Ky., and Diane Coleman, of Little Rock; her mother-in-law, Nancy Dedmon; her brothers-in-love, Frank (Vanessa) Thompson and Gregory Leroy (Clara) Thompson; 13 grandchild­ren and four great-grandchild­ren; a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Gospel Mission Church of God in Christ, 1107 Spring St.
