Experienced Hot Springs banker and business executive Michael Dolan has joined Citizens Bank as senior vice president, commercial loan officer and regional credit administrator. His office is located in Hot Springs at the bank’s branch at 4429

Central Ave., Suite C.

“Citizens Bank continues to expand its impressive team of local bankers who have earned strong reputa- tions for caring and helping build our communities,” said David Wooldridge, market president for south central Arkansas, in the press release. “Citizens Bank is committed to becoming Hot Springs’ hometown bank, and the addition of Michael Dolan will help us as we respond to the financial needs of our existing and new business customers.”

Dolan began his banking career in Hot Springs in 2001, and has “accumulated an impressive resume of executive level positions with three successful banking organizations.”

“Michael understands the importance of how local community banks are more responsive than the so-called ‘mega’ banks whose branches cannot make decisions locally,” Wooldridge said. “Citizens Bank prides itself on our ability to know and relate to our customers, and help them as much as possible with their personal and business requirements.”

Dolan holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Commercial Lending School in Dallas.

He and his wife, Dr. Lindsey Dolan, have two children, Olivia and Graham, who both attend Lakeside High School in Hot Springs.

Citizens Bank was founded in 1953 by business and civic leaders to serve the financial needs of middle income families and small businesses. Citizens Bank works to improve the quality of life for all community residents by promoting educational opportunities, economic growth and innovative civic partnerships.
