Blood drives scheduled throughout coming week

Arkansas Blood Institute will conduct blood drives at the following locations and times during the week:

• Today — 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Bloodmobil­e at Hot Springs Baptist Church, 144 Weston Road.

• Monday — 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Bloodmobil­e at STARTEK,

1321 Albert Pike Road.

• Tuesday — 8 a.m. to noon, Coronado Center, Room 6, Hot Springs Village.

• Wednesday — 10 a.m. to

2 p.m., Baptist Hospital dining room, Arkadelphi­a.

• Thursday — 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Baptist Hospital rehab dining room, Malvern; 2 p.m. to

5:30 p.m., fellowship hall of First United Methodist Church, 107 Ninth St., Arkadelphi­a.

• Sunday, March 25 — noon to 4 p.m., fellowship hall of Center Fork Baptist Church, 1101 S. Moore Road.

Donors are welcome to make an appointmen­t by visiting http://www.arkbi.org, calling Bob Woodall at 501-2826072,

or coming to the donor center at 149 Section Line Road from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to

1 p.m.

Donors must be at least 16 years old and have a photo ID. Each donor will receive their blood type, a free health screening, a choice of three T-shirt colors with different “challenge statements,” refreshmen­ts and Reward Points. All blood donations support the two acute-care hospitals in Hot Springs and 40 other Arkansas hospitals.
