Blood drives scheduled today, coming week

Arkansas Blood Institute will conduct blood drives at the following locations and times during the week:

• Today — noon to 4 p.m., fellowship hall of Center Fork Baptist Church, 1101 S. Moore Road.

• Monday — 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Sports Arena, Jessieville High School.

• Tuesday — 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Malvern High School Auditorium.

• Wednesday — 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Great Room of the College of The Ouachitas, Malvern.

• Thursday — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., activity room, Murfreesboro High School.

Donors will receive a T-shirt in one of three color choices with a challenge statement, learn their blood type, earn Reward Points, and receive a health screening and refreshments. 149 Section Line Road in Keystone Crossing Center, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. All donations support the two acutecare hospitals in Hot Springs and 42 others in Arkansas that use 330 units of blood per day. Donors may give whole blood every 56 days, 2RBC every 112 days and platelets weekly.
