Tickets on sale for Village Chorale’s ‘Feelin’ the Spirit’ concert

-

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Excitement is building among the singers for the upcoming Village Chorale concert, “Feelin’ the Spirit,” set for 7:30 p.m. April 24 at the Woodlands Auditorium.

Behind-the-scenes to prepare for the event include artistic design, ticket and poster preparation, ticket sales and poster distribution, program design, sponsor and donor contact and “thank you” notes. A news release said many singers volunteer to take on these extra roles so the audience is presented with the most professional-looking, and sounding, performance possible. The chorale will welcome composer-arranger Mark Hayes, who will conduct, entertain at the piano, and share his special insights on the selections, all of which are his compositions or arrangements.

Advertisements and names of corporate sponsors and friends of the chorale will be listed in the concert program.

Individuals may also join the Friends of the Village Chorale program. Call Bob Melick at

501-915-8195 or email rmmeick@sbcglobal.net for more information. Call Rob Kasten at 281415-6562 or email robkasten2@hotmail.com for information about becoming an advertising sponsor.

Open seating tickets are available for $12 at the Ponce de Leon Center Monday through Friday during business hours, online at http:// www.hsvticketsales.com, or from any Village Chorale member.
