Society, Arkansas Orchid Society, Hot Springs Iris Society, Hot Springs Daylily Society, American Hemerocallis Society, Ouachita Hosta & Shade Plant Society and Village Pines Garden Club.

AARP driver safety class at McAuley Sr. Center
An AARP Smart Driver course will be sponsored by CHI St. Vincent McAuley Senior Center, 5010 Highway 7 north, at 8:30 a.m. April 19. Qualified graduates are eligible for an auto insurance discount.
There is a $15 fee for AARP members and $20 fee for nonmembers to cover course materials. Bring your driver’s license and, if applicable, AARP membership card. Stop Animal Cruelty Thrift Store, 123 Albert Pike, is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. SAC is an all-volunteer organization striving to promote humane principles, prevent cruelty and alleviate fear, pain and suffering in animals. It investigates reports of cruelty and neglect in Hot Spring and Garland counties. Donations in good condition are appreciated. Donations of dog and cat food or pet supplies may be left at the store.
