Security Bank is dedicated to customers
For more than two decades, Security Bank is the longest serving mortgage company in Hot Springs. Located in the same location since it opened, Security Bank is “proud of its history and heritage.”
At the end of World War II, Security Bank opened its doors on April 1, 1946, in Stephens by being the only bank in U.S. history to start from a $5,000 GI loan. With four generations of leadership, Security Bank carries on this pioneer spirit and tradition.
Buck Smith, president of Security Bank, states in the press release, “My great-grandfather, grandfather and father were and are the cornerstones of building Security Bank.
“We are fortunate to remain one of the few smaller family owned and operated banks in the country. We are proud to be able to continue this commitment to our customers and the hard-working people of Arkansas.”
With the many changes in financial institutions, “Security Bank is dedicated to continue its longstanding presence in Hot Springs and to meet and exceed customer expectations with its personalized service.”
“We look forward to helping our customers realize their dreams,” Marilee Moreland, loan production office manager, said. “Our loan programs are catered to our customer’s individual financial needs and our goal is to build long-lasting customer relationships. We explain each loan program and help them decide which one works best for them. We love making our customers feel like ‘family’ throughout this process.”
The friendly and helpful staff is dedicated to their customers. Jackie Graves, loan assistant and secretary; Valerie Brasfield, loan processor/originator; Elidia James, bi-lingual (Spanish) loan processor/originator; and Maylonda Chadick, loan assistant, contribute many years of banking and financial service experience to our company.
Security Bank is also involved with the Hot Springs Board of Realtors. They eagerly participate each year in the “Cans for Kids” Chili Cookoff benefit, as well as functions for United Way, First Step, Mid-America Science Museum, Hot Springs Sunrise RoHome
tary, Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Club and other charities. They support area schools and participate in events to promote Hot Springs and the community. Security Bank is a member of the Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village Chamber of Commerce.
Security Bank offers several types of loan programs such as FHA/VA, rural development, conventional, construction, consumer, and in-house products with very competitive rates. “With mortgage rates so low, now is the time to contact Security Bank to finance your home purchase or refinance your current home. The experienced loan experts at Security Bank will find the right loan program for you and would love to make your dreams come true!”
