It’s OK to ask for help

- M.J. Sherer

It’s the middle of April and the weather is not cooperating and quite unpredictable. So, I sit in my office staring at this beautiful day of sunshine and blue skies and wonder what is out there to help seniors to understand that needing help is OK, kind of like the weather — we don’t really want to admit we need it, and it is totally unpredictable that we will need it.

For those of you who want to stay in your homes as you age and you see things are getting put on the back burner or you are forgetting to take your meds or sometimes you don’t feel like getting out of bed, ask for help — it’s OK.

Superior Senior Care is a caregiver registry. We have lots of qualified CNAs and PCAs on the registry willing to come help make the aging process a little easier to help you stay in the comfort of your own home.

Our qualified CNAs and PCAs can help you get up and around in the mornings and do some light laundry and housekeeping. They can even take you for a ride if you need to get out of the house or go somewhere. There are lots of options!

But, first and foremost, you have to admit you need the help and always remember — it’s OK! Please don’t hesitate to call us at 623-7767 with any questions you may have regarding the unpredictability’s of needing help at home and we will be glad to help you any way we can. Have a blessed day!
