Blood drives scheduled throughout next week

Arkansas Blood Institute will conduct blood drives at the following times and locations this week:

• Monday — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Cutter Morning Star High School gym, 2801 Spring St.;

2-6:30 p.m., Bloodmobil­e at Danfoss, 1 Scroll Drive, Arkadelphi­a.

• Tuesday — 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Fellowship Hall, Village United Methodist & Knights of Columbus, 200 Carmona Drive, Hot Springs Village; noon to 4 p.m., Langston Aerospace and Environmen­tal Magnet School gym, 120 Chestnut St.

Donors must be at least 16 years old, feel healthy and have a photo ID. Donors will receive a free admission to Wild River Country, have a choice of one of three T-shirts, receive a free health screening, learn their blood type, earn Reward Points and receive refreshmen­ts. Donors can make an appointmen­t at http://www.arkbi.org or by calling Bob Woodall at 501-2826072. Donors may also give whole blood, 2 RBC, platelets and plasma at the Blood Center at 149 Section Line Road in Keystone Crossing, from 8 a.m. to

5:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays. Call 501624-0666 for more informatio­n. Donors can donate whole blood every eight weeks, 2RBC every

16 weeks and platelets and plasma every two weeks.
