HSV Morning Connection to meet May 16

-

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Judy Hall of Harrison will speak at the May Morning Connection, featuring Peggy Hadley of the Village NEWcomer Classes, from 9:30-11 a.m. May 16 at Diamante Golf Club, 2000 Country Club Drive, Hot Springs Village.

Hall shares her testimony of “Finding Joy in the Midst of Trials” after losing her husband, her health and other losses.

A Stonecroft-approved speaker and chair for the Harrison Women’s Connection, Hall speaks at women’s retreats and conferences. Her hope is to reach the broken-hearted and teach them how to apply God’s Word to their everyday lives.

Hadley will present “Bloom Where You are Planted Here in Beautiful Hot Springs Village.” She and her husband, Leon, moved to Hot Springs Village in 2004, when she was 55 years old. She became a senior home companion, then a Lunch Buddy at Fountain Lake Elementary, then hospice volunteer. She is a children Sunday school teacher at Mountainside Church.

Peggy lends her heart and hands to two local Arkansas ministries, Family Farm, near Malvern, and While We’re Waiting in Hot Springs. Since January 2005, her local Village community outreach has been with the women’s NEWcomer classes held at Mountainside Church.

Hot Springs Village Morning Connection requires no membership or dues to attend the monthly meetings. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. All area women are welcome for the breakfast buffet, inspirational speakers and fellowship for $15, inclusive.
