Humane Society of Garland County pet adoption is held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays at Petco, in Cornerston­e Shopping Center. All dogs and cats are neutered, up-to-date on shots and deemed healthy. Hot Springs Buddhist Society will meet from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hot Springs Yoga Center, 1107 W. Grand Ave. Come for group meditation, discussion and book sharing. Hot Springs Toastmaste­rs will meet at 8 a.m. Saturday in the Chapel Room at National Park Medical Center, 1910 Malvern Ave., on the left when looking at the hospital from Malvern Avenue.
