Sixty One Celsius hires creative director

Aaron Buckley has joined Hot Springs ad agency 61 Celsius as creative director according to president and owner Stephanie Alderdice. Buckley is a Hot Springs native and most recently was the creative director for Matmon Internet, a Little Rock website developmen­t and digital media company.

“Aaron brings a new level of experience to our quickly growing agency,” said Alderdice in the press release. “He will not only serve as a designer of premier websites for our clients, but will supervise our creative product in all mediums.”

Buckley’s award-winning experience goes beyond the local scene, having worked with various agencies in Los Angeles on national and internatio­nal accounts such as Docker’s, the Australian Tourist Commission, Warner Brothers and Universal Pictures.

“I am passionate about great

work. I live for layouts, beautiful font combinatio­ns, color palettes and messaging,” said Buckley. “I enjoy working with teams and it gives me great pleasure to help others learn and to learn from others. I love fashion, photograph­y, music and pop culture.”

Located in downtown Hot Springs, 61 Cel- sius is a full-service agency. The agency works with several local companies and organizati­ons, including Visit Hot Springs, the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, Oaklawn Foundation, Downtown Associatio­n, as well as a host of other nonprofits organizati­ons and businesses specializi­ng in tourism, hospitalit­y, education, health care and manufactur­ing. Sixty-one Celsius is also the agency of record for Stone Bank, which has locations in Little Rock, Mountain View, Harrison and White Hall.
