Flowers & Home takes new approach to floral design

-

Flowers & Home, owned and operated by Monroe Cranford and Tom Bynum, specializes in everything floral, from silk floral designs, seasonal decor, home decor, accessories, lighting, oil paintings, furniture and interior design services.

After Cranford and Bynum realized the need for this type of business in the Benton/ Bryant and Hot Springs areas, Flowers & Home opened two locations, the first in Benton at 20400 Interstate 30 N., and the second in Hot Springs at 245 Cornerstone Blvd.

Since its inception, the business has become more involved in the home decor and furniture side of the business,

as less and less of the younger generation is sending flowers and more families are asking for donations to charities in lieu of flowers, which has hurt the florist industry.

Flowers & Home offers more than your average florist. With 14 total employees, including the owners, the business takes a different spin on things, whether by transitioning an event or a space in a home or creating arrangements for weddings and events, sympathy, every day florals, silk designs, gifts, home design or furniture.

Both locations have won awards for their services over the years and Flowers & Home has been featured in several national and local newspapers and magazines.

The Flowers & Home staff has decorated the Arkansas State Capitol for the last three years and are already booked to do it again for 2018.

In June of this year, Flowers & Home will be opening Flowers & Home Event Rentals at 2681 East Grand Ave. where customers will be able to rent containers, vases, candelabras, silk bouquets, wedding props, chairs, tables and other wedding items, and fresh stems for brides who want to design their own flowers. A wedding consultation area will be on site where customers can meet with one of the floral designers to discuss their wedding floral needs.

Call Flowers & Home at 501-574-6110 in Benton or 501-525-0444 in Hot Springs for more information.
