Professional Black Belt Academy of Hot Springs opened its doors in 2014 with a passion for helping kids grow to be mature, responsible adults. We emphasize respect, focus and self-discipline in all our classes. Today, we have grown to be a school of 100 students.
Our school teaches traditional Korean Tae Kwon-Do for ages 4 through adult. We divide our classes by age and experience level. This lets us keep class sizes small and tailor the instruction to the needs of our students.
Co-owner and chief instructor Fred Green has been involved with martial arts for over 25 years and an instructor for 20. He is a nationally certified 4th Degree Black Belt and instructor. Our school is a member of the nationwide Professional Black Belt Association and the Universal Tae Kwon Do Alliance, and all our belt rankings are nationally certified. Stuart and Nonie Lay, parents of two black belts and successful small business owners, are on site to provide the best experience for all our students and their parents.
We are conveniently located in Cornerstone Center next to San Francisco Bread Company and are open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays. We invite anyone interested in improving their child’s self-discipline, focus or respect, preparing children to deal with bullies, or learning self-defense to try a free, no-obligation class.
