Boondocks Pool Hall boasts friendly atmosphere
Boondocks Pool Hall opened August of 2010 and is locally owned and operated by Gary and Kay Elsea.
Located at 1331 Airport Road in Chesswood Plaza, Boondocks is open Sunday through Thursday, 1 p.m. until midnight, and Friday and Saturday, 1 p.m. until 2 a.m.
Boondocks is the host location for APA and BCA pool leagues, which are open to all skill levels of pool players. League play is Monday through Thursday with the opportunity to play in national tournaments or win cash and prizes. Boondocks hosts tournaments throughout the week. Boondocks Pool Hall has all Diamond pool tables, which were designed by professional pool players and are used at most professional and amateur tournaments.
Come play your favorite music on the internet jukebox, try out one of the 16 7-foot tables on the smoking side or go to the nonsmoking section where there are 9-foot and 7-foot tables. Wherever you sit you will have a view of one of the nine flat-screen TVs.
Boondocks has a fantastic food menu and a full bar with happy hour daily until 6 p.m. Patrons must be 21 or older to enter.
Gary and Kay pride themselves by keeping a clean and safe environment with rules of conduct and a dress code. Boondocks carries a variety of pool accessories and if they do not stock what you need, Gary can order from a number of distributors.
