HSV Players’ 40th season continues with ‘Play On!’
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — Tickets are now on sale for Hot Springs Village Players’ production of ‘Play On!’, a love letter to community theater by Rick Abbot.
“Play On!” is a comedy of errors that centers around a theater group that eagerly embraces the opportunity to produce the premier of a play until it runs awry with numerous hilarious pitfalls of amateur theater at its worst.
Directed by Kat Clayton, with assistant director, producer and mentor Karen Feckler, “Play On!” features a talented, homegrown cast and crew. Cast members are Melissa Romero as Aggie Manville; Ken Silvers as Billy Carewe; Pam Palis-Kalisz as Geraldine “Gerry” Dunbar; Marc Bremer as Henry Benish; Laurel Gunderson as Louise Peary; Skyler Clayton as Marla “Smitty” Smith; Donna Hinton as Phyllis Montague; Janis Bremer as Polly Benish; Steve Robison as Saul Watson; and Kathy Mohr as Violet Imbry.
The nonprofit Hot Springs Village Players has presented over 136 productions and this year celebrates its 40th anniversary of entertaining audiences with professional-quality, live theater at an affordable price, a news release said.
