Sharon Traylor
Sharon “Kay” Traylor, 71, of Hot Springs, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018.
She was born on Oct. 1, 1946, in Clarendon, the daughter of Manley Harris and Ruby Lavern Mitchell Harris. On April 29,
1966, Kay married Joel E. Traylor, who preceded her in death on June 15, 2010.
She was Christian in faith and worked for Xerox for over
30 years as an assistant librarian. Kay loved to cook and she was good at it. Cooking was her passion and she loved to try out new recipes on loved ones. She will be greatly missed.
Kay is survived by three sisters, Millie Sebring, of Hot Springs, and friend, Howard Deapo, of Hot Springs Village, Patricia Fox, of Brinkley, and Kathy Best, of Clarendon; a special nephew and his wife, Sid and Paige Sebring, of Trophy Club, Texas; her sister-in-law, Ceil Bellenger, of Searcy; her best friend of over 50 years, Fidel Munoz, of Hot Springs; her loving canine pet, “Skipper.” Services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Neeraj Bharany and staff; Kindred Hospice staff for all their loving care and the National Park Medical Center med surge nurses.
