U.S. Air Force Airman Sydney C. Mitchell, the daughter of Harold and Marsha Mitchell, of Hot Springs, and the wife of Brandon
Harris, graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Anto- nio, Texas.
She completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Those who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Mitchell is a 2017 graduate of Lake Hamilton High School.
• U.S. Air Force Airman Lee Taylor, the son of Mark Taylor, of Warren, and Renee Taylor, of Hot Springs, and nephew of Michael Taylor, of Warren, graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
Taylor completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Those who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is a 2015 graduate of a home-school program in Warren.
